Pregnancy Discrimination/Retaliation
Both Minnesota state and federal law prohibit discrimination on the basis of pregnancy. Under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, employers are required to treat pregnant women the same as other employees.
Employers may also be required in certain circumstances to provide reasonable accommodations to pregnant employees.
If you believe that your employer discriminated against you on the basis of pregnancy, or failed to provide you with accommodations you requested and/or needed because of your pregnancy, you should consult with an attorney.
